Conservation Collective Launch Event

  • Oldest City Arts & Wellness Lounge 93 1/2 King Street St. Augustine, FL, 32085 (map)

What if a single gathering could spark connection, deepen awareness, and create real impact for the Florida wildlife and natural spaces we love?

Welcome to The Conservation Collective—a new kind of community in St. Augustine designed for those who feel called to do more.

This is more than a book club.
More than a networking event.
And more than a conversation.

It’s a space where like-minded individuals come together around a shared passion for wildlife, conservation, and protecting the natural beauty that surrounds us, while turning that passion into meaningful action.

Founded by local realtor and conservation advocate Shelby Spinneweber, The Conservation Collective was created to bridge the gap between awareness and impact. Shelby has built her business around giving back monthly to wildlife and conservation organizations throughout Northeast Florida, and this collective is the next step in expanding that mission to bring the community along with her.

At our launch event, you can expect:

  • A welcoming, inspiring environment filled with people who care about the same things you do

  • Featured guest speaker, Ramesh Buch from North Florida Land Trust

  • Insight into real, local efforts protecting wildlife and natural land

  • The opportunity to connect, collaborate, and be part of something meaningful from the very beginning

  • Light sips and snacks for all guests to enjoy

  • The opportunity to purchase our first book 'Keeping North Florida Wild'

Moving forward, The Conservation Collective will host monthly gatherings centered around thoughtfully selected books focused on wildlife, environmental stewardship, and our connection to the natural world—paired with guest speakers and opportunities to give back.

We also plan to organize quarterly volunteer and impact opportunities, making it easy for you to not only learn—but actively contribute to conservation efforts right here in our community.

Whether you’re deeply involved in conservation or just beginning to feel the pull to get more connected, you belong here.

This is your invitation to become part of a local movement that is making a difference

Spots are limited. Reserve your free ticket and be part of the beginning.
